Zamia debilis

Synonymy: Zamia pumila, Z. laeta Distribution: Presently limited to central Cuba and the Dominican Republic; appears to have been eradicated due to intensive land use in southern Puerto Rico and Haiti.
Common name: Coontie Conservation status: Not threatened in Cuba or D.R.
