Channel 28 August 3rd 2001, 11 PM Broadcast
Channel 28 WFTS should be applauded for rapidly bringing to the attention of the public, the menace of Asian cycad scale in Tampa. Their newscast was very informative, clear and had all the information the public needed to know about the problem. The newscast featured an interview with CFPACS webmaster Joseph Ayo and Cycad Jungle Nursery owner Tom Broome. If you are out of the Tampa Bay television market or simply missed the newscast, don't worry, we captured it for you here.
Be careful, capturing equipment was a little off and recorded the sound a little loud, lower the volume on your computer speakers before playing. 56K modem and high quality cable modem versions.
