An interesting cross: Basselinia X Caryota = the Basstail Palm

Not content with there being an internationally recognized day to celebrate palms (Palm Sunday), Bob unsuccessfully tries to get enough signatures to put Cycad Saturday on the ballots.

Though it did well for a while, for some reason the new spike on Bob's Lipstick Palm just didn't seem to be getting any taller...

Bob cleverly planted his Umbrella Palm near his Hurricane Palm, thinking that something like this might happen.
